Lawn Care: Fall

In the final lawn care session, we will discuss and demonstrate the different tips, techniques, and practices that will help your lawn be healthy going into winter, to allow better winter survival and a great start next year.

Haunted Harmony

.....BE AFRAID -- BE VERY AFRAID...... Haunted Hardwoods - a scary 1/2 mile guided hike through the darkness. The trail will be marked with jack-o-lanterns to help you find your way.... or not. Parents - while you are finding out about the haunted legend, there will be a special area of Halloween fun for kids and the faint of heart, complete with face painting, fun with nature, a treasure hunt, and spooky snacks. (Trail may be rough in spots, please wear a good walking shoe such as sneakers or hiking boots, and dress for the weather.)

Saturday, March 29th, 2008 2008 Spring Garden Conference

at the UW Campus, Marinette

was a huge success

In the Decorative Plant Labels class, the participants received a large bag full of ideas and the the components to make many different plant labels

Something new this year was a display of garden art done by members of Northern Lights MGVA

As well as paintings, the garden art display contained stained glass, leaf casting, quilting, photography and decoupage

was very popular as the keynote speaker at the 2008 Conference.
She also gave a class on woodland gardens
