you ever wonder about your teen and peer pressure, close
friendships, risky behaviors, age appropriate decision making?
Gives ideas for parents to help their children develop responsibility
in their relationships.
Conflict
How
conflict can be managed positively so both parents and teens
"win".
Discipline/Monitoring
How
do I determine if a rule is negotiable or non-negotiable?
Practicing appropriate guidance and control with teens;
adapting nurturance and discipline practices to teens; understanding
parenting styles. Parental, neighborhood and community monitoring
lead to positive outcomes in kids. Monitoring is a powerful
tool. Learn how to go about monitoring in a positive manner.
