In Memoriam

On behalf of all of us at Oneida County University of Wisconsin-Extension, we'd like to express our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Pat Dineen. The Oneida County Fair Planning Committee, the UWEX Staff and everyone who knew him will miss his enthusiasm and his infectious smile. We hope the 2010 Oneida County Fair was one you would have been proud of.

Danielle (Nellie) Wich will reign for one year
as the 2010 Oneida County Fair, Fairest of the Fair!

Danielle (Nellie) Wich, 20 of Harshaw, Wisconsin, will reign as the 2010 Oneida County Fair, Fairest of the Fair. Nellie was selected from three finalists on Sunday, June 13th at ceremony held in Rhinelander. Nellie is a student at UW-Stevens Point and is currently employed by Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association.  Nellie is the daughter to Michelle and John Wich who own and operate Eastwick Morgans of Harshaw, WI, which is why she is a passionately competitive Equestrian.  Runner-up contestant was Adrianna Roberts of Rhinelander. Sharing in the coronation celebration was Natalie Salkowski, the 2010 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair.

Fairest of the Fair

Nellie will serve as the 2010 official ambassador for the Oneida County Fair. In addition to her duties, Nellie will be attending various events throughout Oneida County.  Also added to Nellie’s role as Fairest of the Fair, she will promote the enormous variety of opportunities - educational, agricultural, social, cultural and commercial - available in Oneida County.
