OCLRA MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to protect and preserve the quality and riparian habitat
of the inland waters of Oneida County by serving as the advocate and information
source for, and communication link between lake and river associations and districts,
county and local governments and the public.

Looking Toward the Future OCLRA 2008 Goals

 

OCLRA’s 2007 strategic planning sessions resulted in a refinement of
the organization’s mission statement and the establishment or
confirmation of four standing committees.  The resulting mission
statement, the committees and their primary functions are within the
document shown below, titled 2007 Strategic Planning..  In addition,
the OCLRA Board established specific goals to be pursued by OCLRA
in 2008.  These goals are also detailed below.
