FedVal4 - Shortcut to Spreadsheet

Find price of the following referenced feedstuffs and enter in the top box just right of the products name.  These feedstuffs are blood meal and urea price per ton; corn price per bushel; tallow, feed lime, and dicalcium phosphate per cwt.

The Spreadsheet will figure all the products in the book and give you equal price based on referenced feedstuffs. If your price is above referenced price it is priced over market value, below the referenced price then it is a relative good buy.  If a product you would like to compare is not on the list you can insert a line and put in the products composition needed for comparison.  Make sure you copy a product line into the new area so it has the formula to use and replace the old name and data.

If you want to compare to 48% soybean meal, raise or lower the price of the blood meal until the bean meal price is at market value.  Then you can look at your price comparison to other products.

Note:  FedVal4 compares on protein (UIP) TDN, calcium, and phosphorus.  A qualified experienced nutritionist based on comparative ration analysis would best determine limits of inclusion rates, and amino acid balance.
