Town of Sharon

2008 Update to the Town of Sharon Comprehensive Plan Document

The Town of Sharon Plan Commission and Town Board recently adopted an update of the Town of Sharon 2007 Comprehensive Plan. An Open House was held August 4, 2008, and a Public Hearing was held August 12, 2008. Following the Public Hearing, the Sharon Town Board adopted the revisions by ordinance on August 12, 2008. A listing of the individual revisions, text and map changes intended to clarify land use issues in the Town, are available in a separate link below.

The Town Clerk has a copy of the updated Comprehensive Plan for review at the Town Hall. The Portage County Planning and Zoning Department, 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point, also has a copy available for review.
