Village of Amherst

Adopted Comprehensive Plan Document

The Amherst Village Board adopted the village's Comprehensive Plan by ordinance on February 22, 2005, following an Open House and Public Hearing on the Plan that was held on Tuesday, January 25, 2005. The Comprehensive Plan was developed by the Village Plan Commission over an 18 month period, was adopted by the Plan Commission on December 6, 2004, and recommended for public hearing and Village Board Adoption. A copy of the Comprehensive Plan is available for review at the Village Clerk's office and at the Portage County Planning and Zoning Department, 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point, WI.
