CNRED MISSION

University of Wisconsin - Extension programs in Community, Natural Resource and Economic Development (CNRED) help Wisconsin communities deal with their own unique challenges - resource constraints, business development, growth management, environmental protection and the quality of life.

RACINE COUNTY MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Between 2006 and 2009, Racine County and all seventeen of its local government units (the Town and Village of Rochester were consolidated as the Village of Rochester in December 2008) worked cooperatively with the County Department of Planning & Development, the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, and Racine County UW-Extension to develop a comprehensive plan in order to meet the requirements of Wisconsin's "Smart Growth" law.

OTHER CNRED PROGRAM AREA TOPICS
