Advanced Master Gardener Training: Arboriculture

Program Structure:

  • Mix of lecture, hands-on activity and field trips
  • 24 to 36 hours of training
  • A leaf collection is due at the end of the program

Goals of program:

  • To familiarize participants to the benefits of trees and the major issues of trees in our landscapes.
  • To promote the proper management practices to ensure tree health.

Materials:

  • Resource materials will be provided as needed for each class.

  • Selection, planting and pruning
