Aliesha R. Crowe, County Department Head

  • County Department Heads work collaboratively with faculty and staff to provide a comprehensive, excellent and innovative educational program that responds to the needs of local people and their communities.
  • They also work with the Extension Committee to ensure that the County Extension Department efficiently and effectively manages human, fiscal and physical resources and effectively implements relevant policies and procedures.

Meet the Agriculture and Extension Education Committee

Members of the Ag. and Extension Commitee are: Erny Heiden, James Hofacker, John Stencil, Randy Tatur-Chair, and Roger Svoma-Vice Chair

The Agriculture and Extension Education Committee's role is to:

  • Assist faculty and staff in identifying major problems by informing them of the needs and interests of county people and encourage county faculty and staff to program toward the solution of those problems.
  • Monitor Extension office programs and budget by holding regular meetings with faculty and staff.
  • Represent the interest and welfare of the County Cooperative Extension Office at Committee and County Board deliberations.
  • Work closely with the District Director and County Extension Department Head in the joint employment of Extension faculty and staff.
