Welcome to the Family Living Home Page for Rusk County. Family
Living programs offer educational opportunities that strengthen
families
and
communities, enhancing their uniqueness and diversity. Such programs
offer:
- help to communities to prepare children for improved learning
in school by improving parenting skills, child care, nutrition
and community resources.
- help to make local assessments of pressing community issues,
such as health care, housing and child care.
- research and knowledge to state and local government officials
and community leaders, to help them design public policies
and programs that support families.
