The
Sauk County Master Gardener Program
The
2008 - 2009 Master Gardener Program will begin August 26, 2008.
Class size is limited, and applications will be taken on a first-come,
first-served basis.
What
is the Master Gardener Program?
In
the Master Gardener Program, you receive 36 - 50 hours of horticultural
training with Cooperative Extension university specialists and
faculty and local experts. The course fee includes instructional

Those applying for the 2008 Master Gardener Program need to complete both the application form and the volunteer agreement form below and mail in to the Sauk County UW Extension Office with your payment. (Click on the following links for more information)
Prairie du Sac Community Garden
NOTE: All plots have now been taken for Summer 2008.
Great news!! The Village of Prairie du Sac and the Sauk County University of Wisconsin - Extension office worked together in 2005 to successfully build a community garden near the cemetery on Broadway Street in Prairie du Sac. The cost to rent a garden plot is $20.00 and scholarships are available for those in financial need.
