The
2009 - 2010 Master Gardener Program will begin August 25, 2009, and run for 13 weeks from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the West Square Building in Baraboo.
Class size is limited to the first 30 applicants, and applications will be taken on a first-come,
first-served basis. Application deadline is July 30, 2009, unless the class is filled prior to that deadline.

is the Master Gardener Program?
In
the Master Gardener Program, you receive 36 - 50 hours of horticultural
training with Cooperative Extension university specialists and

Those applying for the 2009 Master Gardener Program need to complete the Application Form, the Volunteer Agreement Form, and the Criminal Background Check form below and mail in to the Sauk County UW Extension Office with your payment. (Click on the following links for more information.)

Great news!! The Village of Prairie du Sac and the Sauk County University of Wisconsin - Extension office worked together in 2005 to successfully build a community garden near the cemetery on Broadway Street in Prairie du Sac. The cost to rent a garden plot is $20.00 and scholarships are available for those in financial need.
