Welcome to the St. Croix County 4-H Program

STEPS TO JOINING 4-HGarfield Cat in 4-H tee shirt with thumbs up

  • Select a club that works for your family.
  • Contact the leader to check out meeting day, time, and location.
  • Go to the Club Monthly Meeting – Let the leader know you are there.

Review information from leader:

    • 1st and 2nd Grade – Cloverbud, no other program.
    • 3rd graders may only sign up for the Exploring project
    • Grades 4 through 13th can select any other projects.
    • Suggestion is to select one to two projects. More can be selected if youth and parents feel they can handle it. (up to 7)
    • Check on project leaders for programs. If the county or club does not have leaders, the parents and youth will need to work on the project.
  • Fill out on enrollment form - make sure to complete all areas. The Enrollment Guide includes a sample for you.
  • Turn in the enrollment form to your club leader.
  • Dues for the year - Paid to the club at time of enrollment or at the club’s deadline date. Dues are usually $3.00 to 10.00 per year.
  • The club leader will get the project literature and a green binder record book, if your club uses them (one per member) to your family.
  • Please remember to ask questions at any time.
  • Watch for the 4-H newsletter called the “Communicator” for information on workshops, project meetings and other items going on in the 4-H program.

Have fun!
