ARCADIA COMMUNITY GARDEN

Community Garden ........................ Community Garden.......................Community Garden

Gardeners at the Arcadia Community Garden are enjoying the fruits of their labor. The garden project began in late spring when Jon Zander, Ag Agent, and Cyndy Jacoby, Family Living Educator, met with the Arcadia School administrators to explore offering a gardening opportunity to local residents in the open field adjacent to the bus garage.

Cooperation of the Arcadia School Board, Arcadia City officials, and Trempealeau County UW Extension has resulted in nine garden plots that have begun to yield tasty produce.

For more information on starting a community garden in your area, contact the UW-Extension Office.
