TO JOIN 4-H
If you are in Kindergarten through 13th grade you
can join 4-H in Vernon County by following these easy steps…
- Most
members join in the fall, but Vernon County has open enrollment
which means you can join 4-H any time during the year. However,
in order to show in the fair you must join and carry your project
90 days before the fair.
- You can find contact information for
each club in your area using a map of Vernon County’s five areas.
- Once you find the clubs near you call them and find out more
about the club. Some questions to ask are: How old are your
members? What kinds of projects do a lot of your members do?
- Once you have selected a club attend a meeting and fill out
the 4-H enrollment form, select your projects, and get ready
to have fun and learn through 4-H!
