FAMILY LIVING PROGRAM AREAS

• Free Financial Education classes will continue to be held monthly in Spooner. 

• We explore money beliefs and money management style, identify where money is spent, learn the power of a spending plan, set financial goals and learn about increasing savings, debt repayment strategies, credit, and insurance basics.  Personal money situation need not be disclosed.

• Sessions to be held at the Washburn County UW-Extension Office on the second Friday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

• Please phone the Washburn County UW–Extension Office at 715-635-4444 to reserve your spot.  Class will be cancelled if less than five people register. 

• This 2-hour workshop also meets the legal requirements for personal finance education for anyone who has filed Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy in the state of Wisconsin; a fee is required for the certificate
