Pressure
Canner Gauge Testing
It is recommended that
pressure canner guages be checked annually for accuracy.
To get your gauge tested
make an appointment, before the canning season begins.
It takes about 5-10 minutes
and requires the canner lid, gauge and the rubber seal.
In Washburn County
Use canning recommendations for above 1000 feet altitude. Elevation
at Shell Lake is 1230 Feet above sea level.
