Losing your job or facing a drastic drop in income is one of the most stressful events a person can experience. Unemployment can mean sudden lifestyle changes for the entire family.
This workshop will help you figure out what your new lower income will cover, what to do if you can't pay the bills and what will happen if you don't pay the bills. In addition, you'll have general rules on which debts to pay first, and how to work with your creditors.

Washington County UWEX Honored by Epsilon Sigma Phi
Members of the Washington County UW-Extension Office recently were honored with Chapter Awards by Epsilon Sigma Phi, the professional society for Cooperative Extension Educators. The awards were presented recently at the Joint Council of Extension Professionals All Association Awards Luncheon meeting in Madison.
Kandi O’Neil was recognized with the ESP Distinguished Service Award for over 20 years of significant contributions to state Extension program planning and delivery.
Paul Roback was recognized with the ESP Early Career Service Award for seven years of planning and delivery of Extension programs.
Charlotte Bales, Marge Kufahl, Christine Larson, and Helen Neal, staff members of the Washington County UWEX Office received the ESP Meritorious Support Service Award for demonstrated excellence in supporting Extension programs. They were recognized for outstanding customer service in meeting the needs of clientele and partners of UW-Extension in Washington County.
