Block Clubs
U.W. Extension Neighborhood Block Club is everything a Waukesha Police Neighborhood Watch is PLUS:
Neighbors getting to know each other and working together with all the area resources to not only help fight crime, and fear of crime, but to help provide information about issues concerning the health and welfare of the residents of the neighborhood. Also addressing quality of life issues and implement. Crime prevention strategies plus neighborhood improvement and enhancement.
Examples of Neighborhood Block Club Programs Include:
- Crime Prevention Strategies and Neighborhood Problem Solving (Provided by Waukesha Police Crime Prevention, Community Police and Patrol Division)
- Parenting Workshops
- Health Care Information Seminars
- Housing Workshops - Rental & Homeowners
- Life and Career Issues
- Gardening and Nutrition Needs
- Elder Care Classes
- Seasonal Celebrations/Parties
- Interfaith Gatherings
- Cultural Events
