- Master Gardener Program -- Waukesha County teams up
with Milwaukee County to provide education, training, and volunteer
opportunities for those who want to become a Master Gardener.
Master Gardeners volunteer time to gardening opportunities and
projects in return for receiving horticultural training. For
more information on the state program see Master

- Waukesha County Community Garden -- Located just east
of the intersection of Northview Rd. and Grandview Blvd. in
Waukesha on county grounds, this 1 1/ 2 acre garden offers garden
plots to rent on a yearly basis. Garden plot sizes range from 30' by 30' or 20' by 20'. Cost
varies by plot size. Must be a Waukesha County resident to rent
garden plot.
- Garden Gleaning Project -- An
opportunity for gardeners to share their excess homegrown
produce by donating the produce
to a local pantry.
- Horticulture Helpline (262-548-7779) -- A free phone service
for callers to speak with someone regarding plant, bug or soil
questions. Telephone hours for the Horticulture Helpline are
Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon (limited winter hours).
Schedule conflicts can occur, resulting in no Horticulture
Helpline now and then.
- InfoSource -- A free website service offering help with over 500 topics.
