YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AREA TOPICS - The 4-H Youth
Development program involves young people in grades K-13 and
adult volunteers. 4-H members are encouraged to learn, build,
and use life long skills such as leadership, communication,
organization, cooperation, and decision-making through a variety
of projects, workshops, and activities.
COMMUNITY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AREA TOPICS - The Youth
Development Program in Waupaca County consists of community youth
development and 4-H club work. Community Youth Development involves
young people and volunteers in each community partnering with
the schools, city councils, park and recreation department, law
enforcement, churches, and more. Some topic areas include youth
in governance, youth/adult partnerships, land use planning, youth
philanthropy, nutrition/physical activity and leadership.
