Results from the first Public Information Meeting Includes public input on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the future of the county.
- The Waushara County Comprehensive Plan is being developed using a bottom-up approach. Each municipality in Waushara County has been asked to prepare a comprehensive plan. The municipal plans are being used as the basis of the County Comprehensive Plan.
- Schrieber Anderson Associates (SAA) is assembling the County Comprehensive Plan with direction from the Waushara County Land Use Committee.
- The Waushara County Land Use Committee coordinates the planning effort in Wausahra County and is the committee responsible for the essembly of the Waushara County Comprehensive Plan using the municipal plans. Anyone interested is welcome to attend and participate. Each municipality in the county has been given the opportunity to appoint a representative to the committee.
