Tri-County Leadership Initiative

The Tri-County Leadership
Initiative (TCLI) is designed to meet the local demand for community
leaders. TCLI is a non-profit organization whose mission
is to create opportunities for participants to increase their
knowledge, skills and confidence; develop insight, and become
involved leaders in their communities. TCLI offers individuals
in Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties the opportunity
to change their lives and the lives of those in the area around
them. TCLI's intense, comprehensive course will:
- Equip participants with the skills to make a difference in
their community;
- Engage participants in their community;
- Provide the opportunity for personal and professional growth;
- Develop civic responsibility, and;
- Encourage collaboration between local government, community,
and private investment.
TCLI's program consists
of 9 full-day sessions held once per month, beginning with the
first session on Thursday, September 15th, 2005.
Participants will meet and interact with leaders from the region
who will present concrete information about issues of local concern.
The curriculum for the program includes:
- Leadership
- Personal Mastery
- Community
- Natural Resources
- Government
- Health Care
- Education
- Economic Development
The intensive, hands-on
nature of the sessions will enable participants to leave with
a solid understanding of who they are, the issues facing the region
and how they can contribute towards improving the quality of life
for all residents and visitors in the region.
- The sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and run until 4:30 p.m. and
will be held at locations in all three counties.

Lake, Marquette or Waushara County are encouraged to apply.
TCLI is accepting applications now.
- The cost of the program is $225.00 and includes books, materials,
lunch, and program activities.
- Class size is limited to 21 and attendance at each session
is required.
