Winnebago County Zoning Code Update Project is Underway
 Purpose and Scope of the Project
Winnebago County is embarking on a major project to rewrite its Town/County zoning code and replace it with a modern, user friendly, zoning code. The project will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, the project consultant, Civitek Consulting, will focus on the text of the zoning code. After the text has been reviewed and tentatively approved, they will turn their attention to the zoning map.
This zoning code rewrite project enables Towns who are currently under county zoning the opportunity to get out from county zoning. It also enables Towns who are currently considering coming under county zoning to rejoin.
