MISSION
Community Resource Development (CRD) programs educate communities
to deal with their own unique challenges, including economic
development and tourism; land use and comprehensive planning
initiatives; natural resources and water quality issues; local
government operations and finance; community decision-making
and leadership issues; and education for small business development.
These programs are delivered through community workshops, formal
presentations, one-on-one counseling, mass media, facilitation
and service to a diverse county-wide clientele including local
government bodies, community groups, individuals and individual
entrepreneurs, and a wide variety of nongovernmental organizations.
