Learning how to properly fit and show dairy cattle is an important aspect of the dairy youth project area. The Badger Dairy Camp provides an excellent opportunity for youth to get hands on experience in both fitting and showing. At the camp, professional fitters provide guidance to campers who work in small groups to fit a heifer. Campers also receive instruction on how to show dairy cattle and then have the opportunity to compete in a showmanship contest with the heifers that they fit earlier in the day.
