Dairy Quiz Bowl is a team event where youth demonstrate their knowledge of the dairy industry through lightning fast reaction to questions. This annual competition held during the winter is open to both junior and senior level participants. The winning team in the Senior Division earns the right to go on to compete at the National Dairy Quiz Bowl Contest in Louisville, KY at the North American International Livestock Competition.

AGE REQUIREMENTS: Junior team contestants will be individuals who have already or will celebrate their 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, or 14th birthday during the year of the contest. Senior team contestants will be individuals who have already or will celebrate their 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, or 19th birthday during the year of the contest. This age eligibility is based on National Contest rules.

DIVISION AGES:

JUNIORS: Must be 9-13 on 1/1/2012

SENIORS: Must be 14-18 on 1/1/2012 (unless their birthday is 1/1/2012, then they may be 19)

*Youth who are still enrolled in 4-H but have passed the year of their 19th birthday can compete in the mixed division.
