Jessica Jens - $1513
Assist in supporting a fall Youth Leadership Conference in Wisconsin Dells where older youth from the Southern District and Quad Counties will be energized to become more active in their local, district, state and national level of 4-H
Debra Neubauer - $3000
Help fund a part-time bi-lingual staff person at the Financial Education Center to provide financial education to the existing financial literacy services. This staff person would translate curriculum and materials, work individually with clients, and conduct community outreach primarily in the South Madison, Allied Drive, Wexford and Northport neighborhoods.
Donna Duerst - $3000
Will help to expand the Rock County 4-H Urban Outreach Program by creating new 4-H community clubs in the city of Beloit, expand the 4-H After-School Program to at least 2 additional elementary school and increase the number of youth involved in these programs.
- Kathy Hetzel - $2200
Assist with teaching math and science to preschoolers with the program: 1 2 3 Learn Math with Me that engages parents and children to play with blocks that offer multiple opportunities for early mathematical learning. The grant money will be used to purchase the blocks and cases and translate the parent materials into Spanish. Curriculum and workshops will be offered to child care centers, libraries, and parent resource centers within the Southern District.

BUDGET REDUCTION STRATEGIES:

MISCELLANEOUS:
An Assessment Survey was conducted (online) in May of 2005 by the Southern District Resource Management Team.
