This series provides a good overview on understanding the situation, critical success factors, planning process and transfer process. There is a good discussion of the possible arrangements between parties for transferring assets to the next generation. It also addresses income tax implications of a farm transfer; however this information may be dated, as the publication was last updated in 1998.
