Review

This report describes a survey of Iowa farmers, reports the data from the survey, analyzes those data and compares them with the data from surveys conducted in Europe and Canada. The survey collected general farm information, demographic information and information about retirement plans. The report concludes that many Iowa farmers have not adequately planned for retirement. By comparison, Canadian and European farmers move more quickly into retirement.
