This website from Purdue University uses six short video scenarios to teach different communcations styles when talking about farm transfer/successions. The characters include the farm operator, John; John's father, Ed; John's son, Mark and John's wife, Sally. The website has information on direct control, indirect control and no control styles of communication. It highlights the way that farm succession discussions can be framed for better outcomes. There are interactive sections with each scenario that allow participants to review the communication styles and answer questions about the scenarios.
