Other

The first step in problem solving is being aware of the many risks that a producer may face in their farm business.  Those risks may range from production to price, financial, environmental, human resources, public relations, or other risks.  Participants in Got Risk will learn how to define risk and risk management, self-analyze their own tolerance for risk, and learn a process for developing a risk management plan for their farm business.  The product (or prize) that participants will go home with at the end of the day is a written whole-farm risk management plan.
