Elder Care & Work: Finding the Balance

The Alliance partners with Bringing Elder Care Home, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in helping caregivers balance elder care and work, to offer education for family caregivers and professional trainers. A train-the-trainer seminar for caregivers who interact with workplace supervisors focuses on specific strategies to help caregivers balance caregiving and work. Topics include healthy caregiving, workplace strategies and the ABCs of elder care resources. Trainer kits include a Leader's Guide, PowerPoint presentation and sample hand-outs.

  • Become a class leader explains how you can become an Elder Care and Work class leader in your community.
  • For class leaders provides ready-to-use promotional and teaching materials, class forms and evaluations for current class leaders.
  • For master trainers offers promotional and teaching materials, class forms and evaluations for current master trainers.
  • Task force lists individuals you can contact to learn more about how to become a class leader, or about Elder Care and Work in general.
  • Find a caregiving class will help you find upcoming Elder Care and Work classes in your community.
