Become a Master Trainer

To become a master trainer, you must be a licensed class leader who has taught the Powerful Tools curriculum at least twice in the past year. Class leaders interested in becoming master trainers must complete a 1 1/2-day workshop taught by a representative of Mather LifeWays, a nonprofit aging institute. The workshop fee is $500 and includes all materials needed to conduct class-leader trainings.

To become licensed, workshop graduates must pay a $250 licensing fee, which is valid for three years. To learn more, e-mail Susan Rothas at srothas@matherlifeways.com or call 847/492-6809.

Statewide training sessions are listed under calendar of events.
