University of Wisconsin-Extension: Family Living Programs
Backed by unviversity research, UW-Extension educators in each county provide information and programs (Some in Spanish) on advance directives, aging, housing options for older adults, financial management, health care, estate planning, caregiving for the Elderly; Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, and intergenerational resources.

University of Wisconsin-Superior, Gerontology Certificate Program
Participants enrolled in the Gerontology Certificate Program must complete five required core programs (33 hours of instruction) and 28 hours of electives for a total of 61 hours of instruction (6.1 total Continuing Education Units). Participants may complete the Gerontology Certificate Program in two years, but are allowed four years to finish the entire program. The five required core programs are offered over a two-year rotation period. Electives offer a variety of subjects to provide the most up-to-date information on gerontological issues.
