Economic Assistance Programs for Working Families
Part 2: Refundable Tax Credits

There are many economic assistance programs that provide working families with cash and non-cash benefits to help meet their basic needs. These are crucial to the economic well being of working families, yet many eligible families do not participate – often because of lack of accurate information. This portion of the lesson introduces you to one very important type of assistance: refundable tax credits.
