Family Living Programs

Policymakers do not always have the staff or time to gather all of the necessary data on current policy issues. At the same time, social scientists have been better at generating high quality research than at disseminating it to policymakers. Thus, policymakers have limited access to family research at a time when the importance of family issues is recognized by the the public and policymakers. The links in this section are mechanisms for delivering better-packaged information and tools to policymakers.
