Mission/Purpose
Assist ECC residents locate community food & nutrition resources through a collaborative referral system. The Coalition also works to increase community awareness and promote social policies to decrease county poverty and food insecurity.

Success Story
In 2004, the Coalition sponsored its first ROWELL Poverty simulation, which will be held every other year. (See ECC WNEP outcome story) In 2003, the Coalition evlauated its resource directory. In 2005, the Coalition revised and distributed its revised and expanded resource directory. We also created a 250 agency/organization group list to email messages concerning Energy Assistance, holiday assistance and other "helps" available to the low income clients the agencies serve.
