1. Why should I attend this conference?
This second time event is a valuable experience for ANYONE directly or indirectly involved in school breakfast programs. Whether you already have a school breakfast in your school or you are thinking of starting one, this conference is for you. This is an opportunity to learn from other schools in terms of what works, what doesn’t, how to garner support for your breakfast program, what research is available on school breakfast and sharing of ideas.

2. Who should attend this conference?
Anyone and everyone! This conference has information that pertains to ANY school personnel who is involved in school breakfast programs. Whether it’s someone involved in the decision to have a breakfast program, or someone who is directly involved in serving breakfast, this conference has information that pertains to all areas of school breakfast.

3. What conference should I attend?
There are two conferences for your convenience. You can choose the one that best suits your needs, based on location, date, etc. The same topics will be covered at both conferences, only the location is different (Eau Claire and Oconomowoc). However, it might be a good idea for everyone attending from your district or school to attend the same conference.

4. How much does the conference cost?
There is no fee to register for the conference. However, registration is required. You are responsible for your own travel to and from the conference site as well as any overnight stays and meals that you require. We will provide refreshments and lunch the day of the conference.

5. Can I stay overnight?
Yes, you may stay overnight. There is a block of rooms at each of the hotels, reserved at the state rate. Just mention that you are attending the School Breakfast Conference. The cost of the overnight stay is your responsibility.

7. Are the hotels “wireless”?
The Plaza Hotel is not but they do offer high speed internet.
The Olympia Resort does have “wireless” capacity.

8. When do I need to register by?
The deadline to register for either of the conferences is September 17th. We recommend that you register early and make your hotel reservations as soon as you can.
