While many organizations and educational institutions maintain websites, the sites listed here function mainly as a means of distributing information rather than being just one component of or complement to a broader educational program.

Title: The 50 Plus Fitness Association
Content: Information on how important exercise and an active lifestyle can be in determining length and quality of life. There are links to health and fitness projects, resources on health issues and a list of the group's events around the country.

Title:  Intergenerational Connections
Content: Intergenerational Connections is maintained by the National Network on Family Resiliency of the Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service of the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. Focuses on information and resources by and for specialists of the Cooperative Extension Service in 28 states. Fact sheets and information on Coping with Stress; Financial Issues – including public assistance programs; Legal Issues; Parenting; and resources are written for several audiences: Consumers/General Public;

Content: NAIC is a service of the U.S. Administration on Aging. The site includes information on aging issues such as housing, nutrition, statistics, Alzheimers and grandparents raising grandchildren.

Title: Northern Area Agency on Aging
Content:  NAAA, a private non-profit agency, is one of six regional agencies on aging in Wisconsin.  NAAA is a key link between state and county/tribal aging programs.
Our Mission:
To effect positive change in the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of county and tribal aging units in order to preserve and enhance the quality of life for older adults in Northern Wisconsin. Title: Wisconsin Joint Legislative Council Study Committees
Content: Study committees are established by the Joint Legislative Council to examine major issues and problems identified by the Legislature. The study committees are made up of Legislators and citizens who are interested in or knowledgeable about the study topic. (Past interim study committee information can be found archived on our Publications page.) The Joint Legislative Council approved the following special committees for the 2002 interim. Legislator and Public Members were appointed to the special committees by a July 8, 2002 mail ballot.
