• Work with University Relations Specialist to create and distribute FLP press releases and media kits
• Create audio/visual materials such as podcasts and videos to accompany printed press releases
• Expand Cooperative Extension and FLP’s web presence and media profile through social media sites
• Contribute to special projects as needed

Education

• B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from UW-Madison

Previous Professional Experience

Jackie worked in Extension previously with the Publications department; while there, she expanded their social media presence using networking platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. She also created two blogs to improve both internal and external communication. Jackie served as an Office Assistant for the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation, drafting and designing press and outreach materials and providing office support.
