  • Bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education, Minor in Speech and specialization in Extension Work, University of Wisconsin- Stout

Previous Professional Experience

  • Nan joined UW-Extension in 1977 as the Langlade County Extension Home Economist.  In 1980 she moved to Fond du Lac County and provided leadership to the EFNEP program.  During that time she also helped out at the state office as the interim State EFNEP coordinator.  In 1986 she reduced her appointment to 60% as part of a job share.  In 1989 she increased her appointment to 80% and assumed the responsibility of Family Living Educator and Department Head for the Fond du Lac county office, which she continues to do today. In 1997 she took a 20% appointment with Family Living as an interim district program liaison, until her official appointment in 1999.  She served as the Southern District  Family Living Program Liaison until 2002 and currently works with the Central District in the program liaison capacity.

Highlights of Current Assignments and Programs

  • Member of Family Living liaison team and Program support for Central district Family Living staff
  • Co-facilitator of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People training program
