Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in German from University of Wisconsin – Madison
  • Master’s degree in human development and family studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison

Previous Professional Experience

For many years Becky worked within various faith communities as Directors of Youth, Children and Family Ministries. After returning to the Madison area and pursuing her degree in HDFS, Becky had the opportunity to work for the Center for Excellence in Family Studies within the School of Human Ecology. She began her current position with UW Extension in June of 2010.

Highlights of Current Assignments and Programs:

  • State co-liaison for the Go/PROSPER Model of evidence-based program delivery
  • Research team member of the Digital Parenting Project for the development and testing of online parent education
  • Co-facilitator of Wisconsin CARES
  • Research team member of the SAGE Project focused on positive development in later adulthood
