Previous Professional Experience
Susan worked as a nutrition scientist at Krause Milling Company in Milwaukee
and Mead Johnson Research Center in Evansville, IN.
Highlights of Current Assignments and Programs
- Designing educational interventions to reduce nutrition risks.
- Evaluating factors influencing dietary choices of young adults and other
groups with special attention to behaviors that increase intakes of vegatables
and fruits.
- Applying models such as stage-of-change and social marketing to the design
and evaluation of collaborative nutrition education programs.
- Using innovative approaches, such as children's story books, to promote
healthy eating behaviors
