Previous Professional Experience
Jennifer first joined Extension in 2001 as a graduate student intern working for projects on home visiting, relative caregiving, and prison education. She started her current State Specialist position in 2007. Jen's interests are diverse, including parent education, child and family assessment, grandparents raising grandchildren, families affected by paternal incarceration, and parenting in vulnerable families.
Highlights of Current Assignments and Relationships to Family Living Programs
- Manage day to day research efforts for the Healthy Toddlers Project
- Work with community partners on recruiting efforts for participants
- Manage recruiting and data collection for Healthy Toddlers Project
- Train and provide support for Healthy Toddlers program implementation
- Member of the Parent Education team
