Before evaluating a program, ask yourself these important questions:
- Who wants to know what?
- For what purposes?
- How will this information be used?
As you look for an evaluation tool, think about your
reasons for evaluating a program.
The program impact you want to measure may be short-,
medium-, or long-term, such as:
- Measuring participant satisfaction with the course;
- Determining the degree of new knowledge gained;
- Following-up with participants regarding their use
of any new information.
