COMMITTEE
DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the Member Resources Committee is to recruit members and to keep members aware of ways that they can become actively involved in association activities.
This committee usually has 3 WisLine meetings in February, May and October during the year.
Current tasks are:
- Member Motivation/Marketing
- Recruiting new members.
- Recognizing 1st year members at the annual banquet.
- Honoring all members.
- Concentration on diversity issues involving staff and audiences
- Maintaining the computerized file of biographical sketches of active members.
Members of the Member Resource Committee combine creativity in marketing the benefits of being an association member with the technology available to keep us informed in the area of family and consumer science.
