Participant Packet

Below you will find an explanation of how to download the materials.

Please note: Two pages (Featured People and Programs in Video Segments and Thank You's) are now complete.  If you have a copy of the participant packet where these pages are not complete, you can download the whole packet from this page or you can click here to download only the four pages that were not complete in the earlier version.

Option 1: Microsoft Word or Word Perfect
You will need to download the materials and save them in either Microsoft Word or Word Perfect so they may be edited to fit local needs.  There are two pages in the participant materials that need to be edited.
1.  The cover page needs to have the local time and sponsors added.
2.  Page 17 needs to be developed for local needs by following the directions on that page.

Save the documents, edit the documents to make them applicable to your locality, and duplicate as many copies as you need.  Because all computers are set up differently, the columns and margins may not line up correctly and you may have to adjust them.

Microsoft Word: Hold shift key and click mouse here to download and save
WordPerfect:  Hold shift key and click mouse here to download and save
A window should open that allows you to save the brochure in any location on your computer.  Save the materials in a place where you will be able to find them.  You may then edit the document to suit local needs and print as many copies as necessary.

Option 2: PDF Format
You can also download the materials in a pdf format.  This option requires you to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free of charge from http://www.adobe.com
Return to this page once you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer and print the materials.  These are some suggestions on ways to use the materials in pdf format:

  1. If you are following option #1 above (editing the materials in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect), you can use the PDF printout as an example of what the materials should look like.
  2. You can print the document and cut and paste (the old-fashioned way with paper, scissors, and glue) to insert information pertaining to your locality.
  3. You can use the PDF printout and retype the information on the two pages that need editing for local needs.
