Promotional Material for State Contacts

Below you will find an explanation of all of the marketing/promotional materials that are available to promote the satellite video conference in your area.

We are providing you with several ways to use these materials:

1.  Editing the materials in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect.  By following the instructions below each promotional tool, you can save the materials and open them in either Microsoft Word or WordPerfect.   Many of the documents will need some editing to make them applicable to local needs.  In addition, because all computers are set up differently, the columns and margins (particularly in the brochure in the site facilitator materials) may not line up correctly and you may have to adjust them.  Choose which tools would be helpful to promote the satellite program in your area, save the documents, edit the documents to make them applicable to your locality, and duplicate as many copies as you need.

2.  You can download the materials in a PDF format.  This option requires you to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free of charge from http://www.adobe.com
Return to this page once you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer and print the materials that you are interested in using.  Many of the materials need minor editing to make them applicable to your location.  There are three ways to use the PDF files:

  1. If you are following option #1 above (editing the materials in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect), you can use the PDF printout as an example of what the materials should look like.
  2. You can print the document and cut and paste (the old-fashioned way with paper, scissors, and glue) to insert information pertaining to your locality.
  3. You can use the PDF printout as a model and completely retype the information.
